Sky Movies Gold was launched on October 1st, 1992. It was ASkyB's third movie channel.
1993-1995
Sky Movies Gold, along with Sky's other channels, launched a new look in 1993 with GRFX/Novocom.
1995-1997
Yet another look from GRFX/Novocom was launched in 1995 from all of Sky's channels, including Sky Movies Gold.
1997-1998
In November 1997, the "egg" look debuted, but the channel's name, Sky Movies Gold, remained unchanged unlike other Sky movie channels which they were rebranding to Sky Movies Screen (number).
