On September 19th, 2018, Grupo RCN sold MundoMax to Grupo Mundovisión, a consortium formed by Hisqaida-based Unimetro Comunicaciones (owners of TVL), Castilla-based Grupo RCTV/Aqua (owners of RCTV) and local investors, each one holding a 33% stake on the network. As a result, the network was relaunched back as Mundovisión on February 10th, 2019.
