Changes: apart from adding the SBS suite of channels (the pop-up channel is currently in Christmas in July mode, don't tune in), a historic agreement was made between SBS and StarHub, allowing both operators to carry its premium sports channels. BT was removed (replaced by ENS, a channel I overlooked last time). This is still provisional.
For the history of Télécorporation: part of it will be inspired by SIC. The launch was a mixture of M9 with later Télécinq (even though TCNB copied Télécinq more in its last months on air).
Despite having a start-up and closedown sequence inspired by M9, its programming was more serious, initially with a heavy amount of news programs. In its initial phase, Télécorp opened at 16:00. Telekids ran in the late afternoon.
But then again you still allow 8 operators: Asulcabo, Telesat, Vodafone, Nowo, UPC, Telecabo, AR Telecom (and believe me, I am still alive), Choiss (only foreign branch of the Hisqish operator?).
Used to be 9 with Sky, 10 with DirecTV (back in the days of Geia when South Matamah was a hyperpower Portugal, Dish was headquartered there before being handed over to Cheyenne and now is in the United Republics)
Changed the canon a bit after I realized that for a time in 1967, RTP relied heavily on ITC's catalog, so ITC stays with TN, here the channel was set up by Granadia under the Bernsteins, as suggested ages ago.
"I found the names: Dosbia (Dosbija/Досвия, Serbia), Broatia (Brvatska, Croatia), Montealto (Crne Altu/Црне Алту, Montenegro) and Noreslavia (Noreslavija, Slovenia). It's only missing the Bulgaria one."
Gineki later named Gapia's Bulgaria (in Runislavia) Dulgeria (Дългерия). I know there's a Macedonia in it but the name's still secret.
BREAKING NEWS: Kaehia bans Brussia Today for its controversy of the attempt to create a sovereign state in the Rota Islands.
Also today, in the Waller Islands, recent events in the USA had led to the removal of Anglosovic colonial statues. The Waller Islands are unique among the Commonwealth countries in the Caribsian, as it is a republic. They believe the other countries are mere Anglosovic territories.
The same way the main channel is for RTN's entertainment content as it depends of the situation. When RTS acquires something from Educativa that is more commercially attractive, they put it on the first channel.
It's canon now. Kaehia's newest meme involves Talcian "doctor" Jorge Castro de la Barra, because come Castillan joked at it saying that his opening theme "should be Kaehia's new national anthem". Now it's time for Kaehia's revenge.
Out of boredom I tried vectorizing Mega Talcia's 2015 logo, pero me dió una putísima paja and some of the outlines are still purple and it takes me a lot of time to find them. Just an experiment. BTW I named the file following DonOnce's naming conventions y wea. You might look at the PNG file and find the right shade of red.
If DonOnce asks for the logo to be vectorized or something, the 2 needs to be redrawn a little, because I can see some "3D shadow". I don't know the font for the numeral, but it was drawn using the 1999 sign-off as reference.
I might take a personal sabbatical from Gapia for a few days soon. I will make a formal announcement later.
BTW, I'm no longer interested in the fourth country. I believe that I went too far.
SADX should learn from me too because he's been copying some of my jokes (glad he didn't take Jorge Castro de la Barra, otherwise DonOnce would flame him too), plus I won't make further remarks about his clones for now.
I will update my 1995 channel list for Cablevisión Borvis, however I'm going to need KJ's help for a few things, including any chances for there being a channel similar to CDF (I think in Gapia it's the now-defunct SDG in New Alacania). And maybe TK's help for the later logos.
For Kaehia, trying to complete the SBS chronology (October 1998 marked the launch of the digital offer).
I set the Kaehian dollar to the Singaporean dollar - does this mean one thing: is it pegged to the Vradivon (like the Bruneian dollar to the Singaporean one)?. The exchange rate will be changed regularly, I used SGD to EUR (the Euro is the Hisqain).
Though I was a little inspired by the history of cable TV in Chile, but with a few changes.
For a start Cablevisión's cable competitor (Surotel) would be a bunch of inferior local companies that were later bought out by them (similar to how Telmex bought Cable Express in Lima - and maybe New Cusco). There's no conservative operator in this country like what Metrópolis-Intercom was, but CV had a few of M-I's advantages (data broadcasting, adopting digital cable as early as 2000, pioneering internet by cable, etc.) and, above all, no censorship unlike the infamous Chilean operator.
Since according to KJ Surotel owns a part of Cablevisión (as a three-way company), then Surotel TV might be similar to Snow NB using Télécom NB's terminals.
I had to adapt the latest Zig Zag controversy regarding a certain French series as a Noubaiese one, as well how the RTNB is considered as "backward".
Destemidas. I hope RTN is more liberal than RTP.
Noubaiese television has been highly controversial lately, you had Euzèbe's comments against Xi'Ang, the whole PDO deep web scandal, the end of the old C5, Euzèbe having the virus and being cured and all that jazz.
Likewise, is there a minority of channels for Caelestis or Gineki didn't specify that?
I mean, you're limited to TVF, Cinémoi and Eurdechannel. No Télétoon (oh wait there are no Portuguese and Eikaroth versions, that would be going too far)? They believe that's not important? Perks of not being one of the four official languages.
DonaldoC1997 wrote: Gineki is rewriting a bit the list of channels and he might be done by this weekend.
Now we need his and DonOnce's help for the list of Jysanian television channels, IDK if Condor Sports, 100 Network and Condor News are all cable networks and what sister channels do the other networks have on cable, but that's up to him.
by the way sometimes I put or copy things from Portugal to Nouvelle Baie ("cloned" the Liberal Initiative and). Is this the secret formula to keep South Matamah less like a bloody copy of Portugal?) out of boredom, I can still see the Chilean influence in Hisqaida and Jysania, both from Chilean admins. (some of the former Jysanian subdivision names had Chilean-sounding names, and from that logic I had to do the map of the states for him, and he accepted)
I only found out Te Kāea was replaced on the day of the shooting, while looking at the Facebook profiles of TVNZ1, 2 and Māori Television (I only knew of it when I woke up). By then I had realized that Te Kāea had been replaced by Te Ao since late February 2019 (a few weeks earlier).
I also had a strange idea for a shorter edition of Te Karere (about 5~10 minutes during the morning) to replace part of the morning infomercials on TVNE2, but with TVNE2's logo instead.
For TVNE7, TVNE News became 7 News. Only Te Karere and the 1 News simulcasts carry the TVNE1 branding.
Commercial radio: Newstalk KH (Herald), Talk Radio Network, Magic Talk (all AM band), FM stations: George FM, The Breeze, The Edge (these stations might be sold or rebranded and distanced from their Kiwi counterparts), Fresh FM (now the radio counterpart of Freshly Squeezed), rest to be defined.
There is also an Iwi radio network like New Eusland but not all natives are Dolynesian.
Lapeete = Papeete (there's no L in Tahitian like Maori, so Rapeete?)
Also I believe that he naming FR3 as A3 (following Antenna 2) is a bit illogical, almost as if he thought that France 2 and 3 have been intimately closer together for 45 years (when in reality the public sector's channels acted separately until the privatization of the first channel). It was RR3 before Gineki changed his mind in 2015 (during the switch from Geia to Gapia).
Be sure you might make it closer to DonOnce's soon.
I wonder what happened to the schedule image (this was before we decided for EBS to air foreign newscasts in Eusloida). Should have been reposted here because Facebook has an issue with files. Also since according to Gineki barely anyone uses the Facebook servers (pretty convenient for myself), there should be schedule challenges like the ones Gineki did and you did.
2015: Remember when Cisneros was everywhere? (guess it got recycled as CNT in Jysania)
2017: Remember when Cinco was a Spanish-speaking channel? (nevermind that for now, otherwise you would have saved many Central Atlansians from despair). Also back then the Latin Atlansian titles should be used because geography. SpongeBob's movie w/Palesian title? I thought this was the PARABAINS country.
2018/2019: I wonder why you dropped the color coding. TV República looks a little better than ARTV (Portugal and South Matamah) when the Parliament isn't in session.
Another meme, don't take this seriously. Cuz is supposed to be the Hisqish answer to Metró and its affiliates. O&Os in Porto Luz (central), Nova Vitória and Kaintor, as far as I know, with the largest affiliates being TV Perereca (all of Nadolia and much of Ariadis) and TV Hiscusol (Nova Itacolomi). It is believed that the admins the Cuz network and Metró NR are plotting something against Jardel "Baldoro".
Basically the entire Cuz+Perereca lobby has been making comments about Baldominions sayong that even Hisqish networks are annoying the MYTH. Maresol later said that they were umder siege because of the recent meeting and that for every curse Bonoro uttered in the video, Cuzeirantes' relations with Metró were at the point of being cut.
BTW ita spoof of Teleluz Hisqaida is actually Jornal da Cuzeirantes. They don't want to call it Telecuz Hisqaida because of issues with Telecu (Metró's Telecurso) because the names sound similar.
One of the most iconic videos ever made in the history of European meme gold, Journal Toussurlesjeux, was actually made in Nouvelle Baie (the guys were from Belgium IRL). The main change from the canon (apart from being Noubaiese): 199€ = 149Bo.
After lukesams was caught imitating my personal "X will sue me for damage" meme, itself inspired by the highly obscene mistake that was "meu pau vai te processar por danos", this time the name and likelihood of RSP TV, Gapia's RBS TV, was stolen for some "Rede Sul Paraná". Please don't comment within the video. Just burn it with flames.
