GRT 2L was an opt-out service available in Lanzes using GRT Two Lanzes' digital frequencies. It normally ran between 8:30pm and 10pm on weeknights. The service was met with high criticism, as the channel was "eating up" GRT Two's primetime with exclusively Lensh programming, and the first phase of analog switch-off in Lanzes in 2007 complicated things further.
The GRT closed down GRT 2L in the run-up to digital switchover as part of plans to achieve 3% annual efficiencies at GRT Lanzes. Digital GRT Two in Lanzes reverted to the network version, with less frequent regional programmes as is the arrangement on analogue GRT Two Lanzes.
