Tele6[]

1987-1997[]

Teleseis 1987

Tele6 was launched in 1987 by a consortium led by Itainian media group Mediaset known as Gestevisión Teleseis, being Latinolia's second commercial channel and the first one to be programmed centrally as opposed to public broadcaster TVL's opt-out for regional news and Cadena 3's cooperative system. Although positioned on channel 6 as opposed to channel 5, the channel followed the same logo as its sister channels in Itainy and Roterlaine.

In 1997, Tele6 introduced its first radical overhaul on its branding, being now always branded as Teleseis (until then an alternate spelling of its name), dropping sister channel Canale 5's flower symbol and introducing a new logo, consisting of a stylized "6" intended to resemble an eye.
