In 1972, following the advent of colour television in Eusloida in the early 1970s, ECN commissioned a new branding that could be more attractive to viewers with the switch to colour, with the final result being reminiscent of foreign partner and minor shareholder EBC.

In 1994, due to the growing evolution of computer graphics, the 1988 logo was turned into a sphere with the wordmark being now inclined at an acute angle.
