Banco Santo Espírito, commonly known by its acronym BSE, is a South Matamanian bank founded in 1869 in New Gasdrop by José Maria do Santo Espírito e Silva. In 1937, it merged with the Banco Comercial do Litoral to form Banco Santo Espírito e Comercial do Litoral (BSECL), reverting to its old name in 1990. The bank is currently headquartered in New Gasdrop and it is owned by Santo Espírito Financial Group.
