TVR2 is a Roterlanese public national television channel. It is part of the state-owned Télévision de Roterlânie group (a division of Société Radio Roterlânie), along with TVR3 and TVRÔ. Télévision de Roterlânie also participates in Arte and Eurdenews.
Since 2008, all TVR2 programming has been broadcast in 16:9 widescreen format over analogue and digital terrestrial television. An HD simulcast feed of TVR2 has been broadcasting on satellite provider CanalSat since 1 July 2008 and on digital terrestrial television since 30 October 2008.
