Chuck E. Cheese's opened its first area in Asterisk in April 1991. For twelve years, there was only one in the entire country until three were added in 2003 over old Discovery Zone locations and a fifth was added in 2013 and many more Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant are coming soon to Asterisk.

In October 2012, the Chuck E. Cheese centre in Northopond closed temporarily. It reopened in April 2013 with a new logo and design. The other areas adapted the new logo in September that year.
