Challenger, also known as The Million Guilder Challenge from 1991 to 2001, is a competitive game show created by Paul de Havik under the production of TROS from 1991 to 1993 and Havik Films & Television from 1993 to the present time, airing on [channels]. Based on Hokuseiese game show Takeshi's Castle, it involves competitors passing through difficult obstacles while answering questions, with the objective of reaching the prize of a million dollars (currency may vary on different countries). The format of the game show has been exported worldwide, including the United Republics, where the name was changed to avoid coincidences with the Challenger shuttle disaster.
